DAY-13 DIY PAPER CHANDELIER

DIY PAPER CHANDELIER.

THINGS REQUIRED:

• Paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Bulb and bulb holder
• Pencil
• Scale

 

PROCEDURE:

STEP-1

First work on the A4 watercolour paper. Mark the middle points of 4 sides of the sheet. Draw two lines that cross in the middle.

 

STEP-2

Draw a diamond based on the markings. Draw vertical lines from the markings.

 

STEP-3

Cut out the diamond.

 

STEP-4

Cut through all 4 vertical lines.Repeat the same steps and cut out many.

 

STEP-5

Interlock the long vertical lines of the paper to make one unit of the lamp shade.

 

STEP-6

Repeat the process and make many.

 

STEP-7

Now put the units together by interlocking the small vertical lines of one unit to the other, making a long chain. Apply glue in the interlocks to make it strong.

 

STEP-8

Interlock the ends of the units to make it into a circular lamp.

 

STEP-9

Now add a light in it and your chandelier is ready.

 

MY EXPERIENCE:

I had a lot of fun making this DIY paper chandelier. It was super easy and worth it. It looks beautiful and is ready to  be added to the decor of my home.
