SWIFT ( SKETCH )
A horse is one animal which everyone adores and most of us have many memories related to it. I too have many childhood memories related to horses and they have always inspired me. I was going through my childhood album a few days ago and I came across a pic in which I was riding a horse and I thought of making this sketch. So I took out my pencils and got to work. I named this sketch SWIFT because the horse I rode for the first time, was named SWIFT.
This sketch is created by using colour pencils….it required very basic colours i.e. brown and black.

Being a good Buddhist, I usually destroy my work after creation, unless someone runs away with it. For me, it’s the process and not the result…

And after I wrote that I realized the horse’s name was “Justify” … the announcer was so excited I guess I misunderstood it. Horses are such beautiful animals. I am glad the horses had no accidents on that sloppy track yesterday – it was such a wet and muddy mess, so easy for one of those beautiful racehorses to lose their footing and break a leg. Thank goodness they were all okay.
