   Ek Unkahi Kahani.

 

Muh me zubaan ,
Prr hoton pe alfaaz nhi.
Zehen me mere chupa magar ,
Hzaaron khwaab khi.

Kehna tha bhut kuch,
Prr keh na sake.
Simtein hue the aasuo k saath,
Mere hrr aisaas khi.

Samajh na sake koi,
Aisi mushkil me hu mai phasi.
Aisa lagta hai ki ab ‘bss’,
Dumm torr du mai yhi.

Aakhein baayan krti hai,
Mere hrr dard ki kahani.
Kuch aadhe kuch adhure,
Bezubaan zubaani.

Why not Hindi? Its always nice to  write in different languages isn’t it?

Not many of us dare to write in different languages because not many of us understand it. I could not find the exact words in English that would fit the appropriate meaning of this poem so I did not dare to translate it into an English poem. I thought of sharing what it meant at least for those who do not know the language because I did not want to ruin my hindi poem by translating it into an English poem.

This is an emotional poem about a heart broken girl who has a lot to say and express her feelings but every time she thinks of doing so there is something that pulls her back and fills her eyes with tears and doesn’t let her express herself. She holds a secret within herself that has broken her from within and she continues to hide her pain within her eyes that no one can understand. This feeling that she hides within her is killing her slowly day by day but is yet unknown to everyone.
